Enough already! I've had enough.. I'm so done,cooked,basted,roasted, toasted and completely compelled to never want to have to endure another Summer like this one. The month of Aug. we hit 100+ degree days all but 2!! The longest and hottest Summer ever. OH yea.. and no rain.
The wild fires that burned out of control have now come back in the some of the same places to harm as if their damage wasn't enough the first time around. Electricity shortages, rolling blackouts, AC problems and severe drought have forced us all to think differently how we use our resources. I can't help but think that surely something good will come from all this pain and misery.
So here's looking forward..and praying for rain and cooler temperatures. So I bid Summer goodbye, if only in my mind in hopes of kinder times to come.
Fall please hurry..
